Join the lab.
We are always interested in hearing from physicists, engineers, and computational scientists who want to work on problems that matter.
What we look for
Three things that matter.
Physics fluency
Deep understanding of the physical systems you model, not just the tools you use. We need people who can identify when a numerical result contradicts physical intuition and trace the discrepancy to its source.
Computational rigor
Ability to build, validate, and defend numerical models under scrutiny. Mesh convergence studies, sensitivity analyses, and uncertainty quantification are not optional steps.
Clear communication
Research is only useful if the people who need it can understand it. We write technical reports for engineers, executives, and investors. Clarity is a core competency, not an afterthought.
Open Positions
Current opportunities.
Computational Materials Scientist
DFT and molecular dynamics modeling of battery electrode materials and thermoelectric compositions. Experience with VASP, Quantum ESPRESSO, or similar codes. M.Sc. or Ph.D. in physics, materials science, or computational chemistry.
Research Engineer, Structural Integrity
Finite element modeling of fatigue, fracture, and wear in mining and industrial components. Experience with Abaqus, ANSYS, or similar. Background in mechanical engineering or applied mechanics.
Research Engineer, Energy Systems
Thermoelectric module design and thermal systems modeling. Boltzmann transport calculations, phonon engineering, and heat exchanger design. Background in physics, materials science, or mechanical engineering.
If your background is in materials science, energy systems, computational methods, or a related discipline, send us your CV and a brief note about what interests you.
